Fiddlehead Designs at Design After Dark

If you don't have any plans this Friday, January 22nd you want to consider picking up some tickets for Design After Dark. Its an event hosted by the Denver Art Museum Design council to raise funds for the Architecture, Design and Graphics Department. We are donating a $1,500 gift certificate for any original Fiddlehead Designs product to be auctioned off in a silent auction.  Should be a lot of fun and you could end getting a killer deal on some Fiddlehead action while donating to a good cause and keeping art around.

Hope to see you there!

We breathe what we build.

Interesting article from the New York Times on concrete production in the world and the possibility of eliminating Portland cement.  Greener concrete = less CO2.

Introducing LOOP sinks

Okay. We finally have launched or more accurately are launching our new product line of eco-friendly concrete sinks. So the verbage we're using is LOOP sinks by Fiddlehead Designs. Yes, we have been making sinks for a long time, but what makes LOOP sinks so special is that they are made with 100% recycled glass and recycled concrete in a cement matrix. We don't have the ability yet in house but anyone of our sinks could be recycled into another LOOP sink or other LOOP concrete product...thus completing the product cycle, or loop, hence the name.

We currently have over 20 standard designs to choose from that can be customized to fit your space and 8 standard colors. Our goal is to make great design more accessible and sustainable. LOOP concrete sinks are available in single or double integral sinks as well as vessels and can be installed floating or on top of cabinets.
