Integral concrete sinks evoke the simple beauty of nature. The glide of water over a polished river stone. Meltwater plunging deep into the blue ice of a glacial crevace. The refining force of passing time. Nature becomes art. These modern designs and clean shapes become the focal point of the washroom. Why settle for just a sink when you can have a water sculpture.

Designing with a Fiddlehead Designs integral concrete sink doesn't have to be hard or mysterious. In our minds this is a Semi-Custom design process. We start with some standard products and customize it to fit your needs. Below are our standard single and double integral sinks (there will be more to come soon!). The length and width of your countertop will vary based on your specifications.

Follow these steps to ensure an effortless design process and installation.

1. Decide on the dimensions of the countertop surface. This usually is dicatated by the cabinets and cabinet configuration you choose or by the available wall space in the case of a floating installation.

2. Pick a sink design that you like. We have many single sink styles as well as double sink styles such as troughs and ramps to accomodate two or more faucets in a master bath or commercial setting.

3. Look at the dimensions of the sink design and determine if it will fit in your cabinet configuration. Most of our sinks are designed to fit in a 24" sink base cabinet. Some double sink designs such as our troughs and 48"+ ramp sinks will require minimal, but some cabinet modification.

4. Decide on the thickness of your concrete sink. our standard thickness is 1.5" and the sink portion of the concrete will drop below the 1.5" of the countertop (see diagrams). If a thicker looking concrete sink is desired, keep in mind that the finished height of your sink will be the cabinet height PLUS the thickness of the edge of your countertop/sink surface.

5. Decide on what type of faucet and faucet installation you will be using. Will you be using deck mounted faucets or a wall mounted facuet? If a deck mounted faucet will be used, how many holes will you need 1, 2, or 3 per faucet?

6. Pick a color from our color palatte.

7. We'll review your project and design and once we recieve a 50% down payment we will begin work on your custom concrete sink.
